As an experienced Infrastructure Development professional, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your hands-on knowledge in system design, application development, testing and operational stability will help your team deliver high quality products. You'll be instrumental in solving more difficult technical issues, developing integration elements, building data models, APIs, and open 3rd-party SDKs. You will be part of a team of subject matter experts with diverse skills to drive organizational transformation for various emergent methodologies and practices like Agile, SRE, DevOps etc. You will play a pivotal role in developing Infrastructure Development capabilities from a people, technology and process perspective. The role involves hands-on technical mentoring of individuals and partnership with various technology groups to transform them from a traditional system administration function to one that fully embraces modern software development practices, methodologies and tools that have been defined by the Firmwide and GTI Chief Development Office. This is an influential role that requires an agile mindset.

* This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BA/BS required

Significant experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development

* Experience in providing hands-on training and mentoring to new software developers including development best

practices like test driven development, performing code reviews / peer programming etc.

* Proficiency in at least one of these disciplines:
* Internals of distributed Operating System (Unix/Linux, Windows)
* Systems programming
* Network programming
* Experience using large scale software development in one of these languages: (Python, Javascript, Java, .NET, Perl)
* Experience using system and software security and entitlements such as SSO, Windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD
* Experience with new and emerging technologies such as cloud and virtualization
