Job Description

ASRC Federal InuTeq provides information security, enterprise architecture, software development and health IT solutions to federal government customers. We are seeking a Networking Specialist/Technician for our High Performance Computing Modernization Program Integrated Technical Service (Restricted) (HITS-R) contract with the DoD.

Summary: The Network Specialist/Technician performs a vital role in maintaining the DREN infrastructure for the DoD's High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP). The successful candidate should have experience with cabling and the ability to make cables of varying lengths with correct connectors. Also, the candidate should have experience with moving servers and other equipment in racks. The candidate should possess strong trouble-shooting skills with network equipment. The successful candidate will also have the following skills/knowledge:

* Knowledge of network architecture/plans
* Ability to create and update network diagrams
* Ability to install, repair, inspect, and maintain network cabling and other hardware

The network specialist will also have experience with VTC configuration and remote set-up. Experience with Movi/video endpoints, preferred.

* Experience with H.323 and SIP protocols
* Work with off-site locations ensuring firewalls configured to allow VTC ports and protocols
* Knowledge of DISA STIG requirements
* Experience with telepresence management suite, preferred
* Experience with troubleshooting video endpoints
* Experience with CISCO RMA process

AFHCM

Qualifications:

* BS plus 2-4 years relevant experience or equivalent (additional work experience may be substituted for degree)

Security+ required.

Network+, A+ preferred

Work experience to include: Network experience, Juniper experience (preferred), Cisco experience


* Must be a US Citizen.


* Minimum Secret clearance required; must be able to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance.
