Position: Network Engineer / Network Engineer 5

Location: 2500 Westchester Avenue, Suite 300, Purchase, NY 10577 (Telecommuting is permissible)

Duties: Understand, operate and implement networks based on multi-vendor technology in an Enterprise environment. Support logical and physical network architectures, resulting documents and drawings, testing analyses, test plans and risk assessment of the network. Solve network problems and work with the level1/2 NOC engineers. Plan and execute changes to all supported network devices, participate in planning and executing changes for enterprise IOS upgrades for all supported devices. Participate in solving complex problems, RCA's, supporting Global systems and support teams. 40% telecommuting permitted.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics, Engineering or IT or a related field.

Minimum Experience Required: 4 years of experience designing, operating, implementing and supporting complex networks and data center systems OR 7 years of experience designing, operating, implementing and supporting complex networks and data center systems.

Skills required: At least one Cisco certification like Cisco CCIE in Routing or Switching, Data Center, or Service Provider. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the following required skills: Cloud Computing Network Infrastructure experience. Experience with Cisco Nexus Devices / IOS for 9Ks, 7Ks, 5Ks, 2Ks and 1Ks. Experience with security technologies (Firewalls (multiple vendors), IPS/IDS, VPN and DMVPN). Routing and Switching (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MST, RSTP, QOS, Etherchannel and ECMP) experience. WAN/LAN technologies experience. Experience with Load Balancing on multiple platforms. Network problem analysis experience. Experience with documentation (technical and work level instructions). Experience using network management systems and tools such as: Spectrum, eHealth, wireshark, securecrt. Experience with TCP/IP protocols FTP, SSH, TELNET, SFTP, TFTP HTTP and HTTPS
