This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team that is responsible for implementing and supporting a complex WAN environment which runs on a carrier class network in an enterprise setting providing end to end delivery of airport, branches, and campuses spread across the world. This fast-paced environment will challenge your knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, Multicasting, QOS, Cisco hardware, Cisco IOS and other complex network technologies. In this role, you will be an important member of the Network Engineering team. As a Wide Area Network Engineer you should have a current CCNP, minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience, and ideally working in a carrier network or a large enterprise network in an engineering, or implementation role. Good knowledge and hands-on experience with routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and working Knowledge in MPLS.
Skillset Details:
Hands-on experience with cisco 2800, 2900, 7600, 7200, and ASR platforms.
Knowledge of carrier technologies such as Ethernet services, point to multipoint connectivity as well as the ability to work with carriers for troubleshooting purposes
Takes part and own end-to-end implementation projects.
Takes part in creating and updating documentation
Experience in ASA and VPN technologies
Making sure all the related documentation is processed correctly and up to date.
Clearly and concisely communicates to the customers
Good knowledge and hands-on experience with routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and working Knowledge in MPLS
Experience in coordination and troubleshooting of T1, E1, T3, E3, Metro Ethernet, and ISDN links with international ISPs.
Hands-on experience with configuration NAT, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and HSRP.
Experience in troubleshooting and coordinating with multiple Telco's.
Experience in ASA and IPSEC VPN technologies.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent Team player.
Excellent attention to detail.
