Job DescriptionDescription
Network Engineer supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Student Analysis and Operations Center (SAOC) and the School Certification Unit (SCU) within the Student Exchange Visitation Program (SEVP).
Supports strengthening and improving the tracking of foreign students and exchange visitors in the United States in order to reduce the potential for fraud.
Responsible for supporting a variety of networks and systems in a mission-critical enterprise environment.
Additionally, troubleshooting network issues, and customer service skills, including the ability to defuse situations, and to deal with individuals who might not fully understand the technology, is required.
Works in a team of various government, subcontractor, and SAIC personnel. This engineer will primarily deal with project-type work.
