Dewberry is currently seeking a Network Engineer to join our IT department in our Fairfax, VA office. Responsibilities: Installation and troubleshooting of networking hardware to include Routers, Switches, Firewalls for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems. Coordinates special projects related to LAN/WAN hardware/software improvements and/or enhancements.

Required Skills & Required Experience: Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information engineering or other related areas; such education should be at a level which demonstrates the ability to perform responsibilities listed.

Responsibilities

* Installation and troubleshooting of network hardware including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
* Operations and support of a distributed Cisco Unified Communications environment including CUCM, Unity Connection, IM&P, CER, ARC, UCCX, WebEx, and administration of desktop applications (Jabber).
* Coordination of special projects related to LAN/WAN and IPT hardware/software improvements and/or enhancements.
* Maintenance and management of Cisco Prime Infrastructure, to include setup of new sites, syslog/fault monitoring, image/ios backups and change management.
* Network access control utilizing Cisco ISE for distributed wireless and wired networks.
* Administration of Cisco data center network utilizing Nexus switching platforms.
* Network health monitoring utilizing industry leading technologies.

Required Skills & Required Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in IT related field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 6+ years' experience in a distributed network environment.
* Experience with Cisco UCM, Unity Connection, IM&P, CER, Contact Center is required.
* Experience with Netscout and/or Fluke VPM is preferred, but not required.
* Experience with Cisco routing and switching platforms is required.
* Advanced knowledge of network access control methodologies utilizing Cisco ISE is required.
* Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, eBGP), web filtering, SIP trunking, VoIP, QoS, and network troubleshooting methodologies.
* Knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n wireless networks and be able to resolve connectivity, interference, authentication and coverage issues.
* Knowledge of various VPN connection methodologies including IPSec, SSL VPN, and DMVPN.
* Experience with Cisco APIC, ACI and VXLAN is preferred.
* US Citizenship required.
