SAIC is looking for a well-qualified Network Engineer to join an exciting program in Northern Virginia. Your job responsibilities will include supporting the customer's Networking and Communications Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team in the implementation, operation, and maintenance of secure encrypted networking devices and communication circuits. Travel is required - 10 per cent - to support critical business needs.
Qualifications
* An active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for access to sensitive compartmented information (TS/SCI);
* The ability to complete a counter-intelligence scope polygraph (CSP);
* One of the following certifications:
* The CompTIA A+CE certification,
* The CompTIA Network+CE certification, or
* The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc. (ISC2) Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP);
* The ability to complete the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching certification within six (6) months of hire
Desired Qualifications
* An active Top Secret clearance with access to SCI;
* Having completed a counter-intelligence scope polygraph (CSP) within the last five (7) years;
* Either the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching or CCNA-Data Center certification;
* Experience with Cisco Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) tunneling through Type One encryption devices (e.g., Taclanes or BorderGuard devices).
