We are looking for a talented engineer with Network experience and DevOps skills to join the NetFortris team. This position's primary focus is environment automation and improvement, while also participating in builds/deployments and legacy environment upkeep.

Our primary product consists of a high-level, intuitive, web-based interface to the open-source PBX software Asterisk. We've also built various other desktop applications and APIs . The ideal candidate possesses strong problem-solving skills, diplomatic communication experience, a breadth of industry good practices knowledge, and a desire to contribute.

Responsibilities

Contribute to configuration management (Puppet and SaltStack).

Contribute to procedures for packaging, deploying and automating Netfortris software.

Participation in Release management.

Fixing environment issues that QA or Developers report.

Maintaining load balancers (HAProxy)

Scripting (Python, Bash)

Setup, Configure, Troubleshoot Linux (Networking, VLAN, Network Bridge)

Skills & Requirements

5+ years of Network deployment and administration experience

2+ years of solid experience as DevOps Engineer and scripting in Bash, Python and / or Perl

2+ years of networking experience (LAN,VLAN,TCP/IP, Layer 2, Layer 3)

Have solid practical skills with Linux, Git and Configuration Frameworks like Puppet or SaltStack

Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces

Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working closely within small teams

Self-motivated / self-starter

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent industry experience
