Job Description

Provide onsite installation and integration support for network edge elements that may include small cell, CRAN, smart poles, IoT devices, and other multivendor equipment including but not limited to Nokia, Ericsson and Cisco.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Build, troubleshoot, integrate, and report site status as it pertains to the SOW at hand
* Perform transport validation and integrity testing to ensure readiness
* Follow all state and federal safety regulations while working in an efficient and productive manner
* Work at heights and to safely operate a bucket truck and digger derrick
* Troubleshoot and resolve alarming issues during installation and integration phases
* Drive end to end functionality test to ensure on-air readiness
* Liaison between remote integration teams and project management
* Document all site issues, failures, and outages, along with the resolution within SAC trouble ticketing system
* Create end of shift reports
* Work with project management to ensure on time delivery and maximize productivity
* Responsible for insuring the prompt completion of all job duties in a safe manner while achieving high quality standards
* Responsible for quality and safety of all work being performed on site
* Interprets various documents (e.g. blueprints, diagrams, manufacturer specifications, etc.) to ensure proper installation of the SOW
* Establish and monitor traffic control on site
* Use hand tools, mechanical equipment, and other test gear that is required for SOW (Sweep and PIM)
* Recognize safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner
* Successful Completion of required training
* Bucket truck operation
* Digger Derrick operation
* RF awareness
* Sweep and PIM
* ROW safety
* Power space/Utility line awareness
* First Aid/BBP @CPR
* PPE use and requirements
* CDL Class "A" License



Skills/Qualifications:

* 2-3 years industry experience in small cell environment
* Have a solid understanding of the wireless industry, specifically as it pertains to the small cell SOW
* Knowledge of electrical installation, and wiring of disconnects, and installing antennas, radios, and other RF components
* Knowledge of basic grounding installation for RF and electrical components
* Self-motivated
* Safety conscious
* Quick learner
* Able to take direction
* Hard-working
* Physically able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
* Civil, Electrical and Telecommunications industry is preferred
* Valid CDL "C" Driver's License is required
* A willingness to travel when required
* Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
