Summary
This position is responsible for the day-to-day operational integrity of all plant MES systems (EBR, Batch Tracking, Bar Code Shipping, Inductive, Watson, Fill Line Manager, MERC, MES Mobile, etc.), as well as other computer systems.
Major Tasks Include:
* Responsible for all plant hardware and software upgrades
* Maintenance and administration of the plant's local area network, bar code scanners and production devices
* Maintenance and administration of the plant's PC's, server, printers, phone system and employee communication screens and systems
* Assist in the implementation of the MES/IS portions of Capital Projects
* Assist administrative employees with PC/Laptop and software issues as they arise
* Primary contact for the site's security and gate access systems
* Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed
* Ability to respond to breakdowns for a continuous operation
* Ability to respond to computer system problems during off hours
Basic Qualifications:
* Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
* Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office products and end user support
* Must have knowledge of Novell, Linux Operating Systems, and Oracle
* At least 2 years experience with EBR and Bar Code Shipping
* At least 1 year experience with CISCO network infrastructure, CISCO wireless network (routers, switches), and CISCO & AVAYA VoIP Systems
* Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or 4 years of Computer Science work experience
* At least 3 years IT experience as a Network Analyst
Other Qualifications:
* At least 5 years IT experience as a Network Analyst or similar position is preferred
