About the Role

The Network Administrator will report to The Director of IT and collaborates closely with colleagues, and other stakeholders to support user needs and build systems that will improve business processes, drive security and optimize critical business strategies.

Responsibilities:

As The Network Administrator you will be accountable for supporting of all aspects of IT, including system architecture, security, network support and information management.
Provide technical assistance and customer support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Maintain existing and new technologies in conjunction with the needs of the organization and execute the necessary changes to current IT operations and/or technical systems.
Maintain and enforce written policies and procedures regarding IT operations.
Maintain a secure architecture (e.g., firewalls, anti-virus software, anti-malware software, intrusion prevention systems, etc.).
Remain current on IT trends and security threats.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent training and experience
4+ years in a Microsoft environment - Active Directory, Exchange and Microsoft 365 Platform.
Experience with Cisco Meraki security appliances and switches preferred.
In depth knowledge and understanding of networking technologies, design principles, and the practical application of routers, switches, virtualization, storage, storage networking virtualization/zoning, load-balancers and network security
Ability to manage MacOS and Windows desktops.
Experience with identity and authentication systems, such as Azure AD, ADFS, or SAML.
Knowledge of network security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, Intrusion detection/prevention, and web application firewalls and endpoint security tools.
Strong documentation skills and experience generating technical documents, diagrams, solutions specifications, guidelines, processes, and procedures.
Experience with cloud and virtualized technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and VMware
and with cloud SSO Identity provider (Okta, Onelogin).
