Job Description

The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) is the largest hunger relief organization in New England and among the largest food banks in the country. GBFB's mission is to End Hunger Here in eastern Massachusetts, and our strategic objective is to provide at least ONE MEAL A DAY to everyone in need in eastern Massachusetts.

GBFB is looking for a NetSuite Administrator to join its Information Technology Team. The NetSuite Administrator has the primary responsibility to support and provide continuous improvement to GBFB's NetSuite production and sandbox environments including integration support for existing and future 3rd party applications such as, Suite Commerce Advanced, Dell-Boomi and warehouse management (AGI). This position works closely with the Senior Director of Information Systems and cross-functional NetSuite teams for setting priorities, functional requirements and approvals of all NetSuite changes including, but not limited to, configurations, new features, testing, improvements to process efficiencies, business analytics and training.


* Manage, document and configure system workflows, scripts, specific fields/forms, records, searches, reports, and integrations with third party applications/databases including Salesforce, Expensify, Dell-Boomi, AGI WMS and data warehouse solutions, including approval of changes via established IT Case Management process
* Manage and develop the process for custom permission roles to enforce security, ease of use for NetSuite users and to ensure audit compliance
* Work with NetSuite functional users to design, create and publish saved searches, reports and dashboards
* Assist users to increase their system adoption, streamline business procedures and troubleshoot issues
* Develop procedures to ensure data integrity across all systems integrated with the NetSuite environment and resolve discrepancies
* Develop and document business procedures for securing data and system permissions
* Manage and document the process to test NetSuite/AGI releases twice per year or as needed
* Analyze, document and make recommendations to management for continuous improvement of GBFB business systems including NetSuite, Salesforce, AGI, data warehouse and future systems

* Strong analytical and organization skills including ability to document and analyze business processes
* Ability to think independently; ability to solicit a wide variety of input
* Strong interpersonal, project management and customer service skills required
* Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required


* Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
* 4+ years of NetSuite Functional Administration experience including Suite Commerce Advanced, Sales, Financial, Inventory, Purchasing and Warehouse Management modules
* Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and all end-users
* Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis on service and support to end users
* Systems/business analysis, 3rd party integration and reporting experience
* The ideal candidate will have programming experience, an aptitude for coding, and an interest in enhancing development skills
* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

* Ability to meet physical requirements related to agency distribution or event execution as needed. This may include setting up tables and chairs, moving things, lifting boxes of cans that weigh 25 pounds, loading and unloading cars, etc.
* Ability to sit up to 3 hours at a time
* Ability to work within in an open air/cubicle environment
