The Deloitte Global Cybersecurity function is responsible for the firm's overall objectives of enhancing data protection, standardizing and securing critical infrastructure and gaining cyber visibility through security operations centers. The Cybersecurity organization delivers a comprehensive set of cybersecurity services to Deloitte member firms through regional delivery hubs and a Global Fusion Center. We are seeking a NetDevOps Associate Network Analyst to join the team.

Work you'll do:

The incumbent focuses on providing operational and project support ensuring that the self-managed WAN is highly available.

Assists in the planning and evaluation of existing network platforms and systems.

Is involved in the development of technical standards, interface applications, evaluation of new products and network problem resolutions.

Serves as a liaison between technical teams and internal clients to establish new network connectivity request and assists with ongoing maintenance.

This Deloitte Global role requires limited to no travel. This role is exclusive to Princeton, NJ, Hermitage, TN, Chicago, IL or Glen Mills, PA. Relocation is necessary.

Who you'll work with:

The Deloitte Global Cybersecurity function is responsible for enhancing data protection, standardizing and securing critical infrastructure, and gaining cyber visibility through security operations centers. The Cybersecurity organization delivers a comprehensive set of security services to Deloitte's global network of firms around the globe.

Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities

* Contribute to network planning, engineering, architecture and deployment initiatives.


* Provide input to improve processes and standards and to optimize the environment.


* Identify and evaluate business and technology risks.


* Document and design network topology.


* Plan and coordinate network maintenances with involvement from architects, engineers and operations teams.


* Execute according to established standards, procedures, and processes.


* Track and analyze the commissioning and decommissioning of network assets (circuit, routers, switches…). Repair asset data inconsistency.


* Assist technical teams to resolve issues and troubleshoot reported network connectivity problems.


* Escalate outstanding issues to senior people for guidance. Escalate issues with vendors to expedite resolution.


* Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation and other maintenance activities.


* Check the health of the environment. Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation, and recovery of failed network components.


* Work closely with the Network Operation Centers.


* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Technical Skills

* Knowledge or experience in four or more of the following:


* Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN)
* Automation, Programming/Scripting languages (Python, Ansible, etc.) & Orchestration


* Cisco ISE, network access control and segmentation


* Cisco Software Define Access (SDA)


* Network infrastructure components including circuits, switches, routers,


* Routing and switching


* Network Function Virtualization (NFV)


* WAN Optimization


* Networking features and protocols such as spanning tree, VPC, ARP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Ether channel, 802.1Q trunking, HSRP, RADIUS/TACACS+, VPLS, VPN and MPLS.




* Understanding of cyber security, cloud, compute and storage technologies.


* Understanding on how to deploy a given infrastructure design without undue disruption to active services.


* Adept at assessment of capacity and performance reports in order to specify necessary changes.


* Vendor Management and Escalation



Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements

* Excellent time management and attention to detail is essential.


* Knowledge of agile methodology


* Good written and verbal communication skills.


* Sensitivity and cultural awareness is essential as the role will interact with resources globally.


* Discipline and experience in recognizing and handling confidential and sensitive information.


* Ability to travel as needed up to 25%


* CCNA is a plus.



Education & Experience

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience: degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or other technical degree preferred


* Master's degree preferred


* 0 to 3 year of experience.
