Job Description:

This position will be a key member of our website and analytical tools technology team responsible for the implementation and support of a number applications. The person selected for this position will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to understand business needs and define requirements. The optimal candidate for this opportunity will have experience will full product life-cycle development including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support of complex systems.

Responsibilities

* Work within and across agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions using a .Net development stack
* Appreciation for test-driven development & automation
* Assess technology issues and opportunities and make solution recommendations
* Stay knowledgeable with the latest coding techniques and tools
* Mentor junior developers and continuously improve software engineering practices
* Participate in code reviews, define internal application architecture and solve unique and unanticipated technology problems ahead of the rest of the development team

Qualifications

* 4 year college degree
* Experience in TDD and Continuous Delivery using MS Build, TeamCity, psake, Octopus, etc.
* Practices a Test Driven Development or a Test First coding discipline
* Worked in an Agile/Scrum development process
* Ability to present ideas and information in group settings and meeting facilitation skills
* Strong skills and experience in each of the following:
* .NET 4.5.1 or higher (C#) (minimum 2 years)
* ASP.NET MVC (minimum 3 years)
* Visual Studio 2010 or higher (minimum 3 years)
* MS SQL Server 2008 R2 or higher (minimum 1 year)
* Testing framework (XUnit, NUnit, etc..) (minimum 3 years)



Desirable skills

* Experience with Powershell is a plus
* Financial services experience is a plus
* Strong working knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, JQuery and HTML5/CSS is a plus
