We are seeking an energetic developer to deliver high quality, end-to-end, full stack web and database application software design and development services. In this role, you will work with knowledgeable developers throughout the organization to support our strategic digital communication initiatives and ensure efficient and effective information sharing through a variety of internal media and communication outlets. As a Web/Applications Developer, you will:

1.Design, code, and maintain web and database applications

2.Design, code, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft.NET and modern front-end technologies

3.Test, deploy, maintain, and enhance websites and database applications

4.Design and develop creative solutions using web development technologies, including active participation in analysis and design reviews and resolution of technical issues.

5.Partner effectively with the AMDS Communications Manager to lead development projects to include client communications, pre-planning, scope, time and cost estimates, requirements definition, changes to scope, configuration, and budgets

6.Author and maintain software documentation and user manuals

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you have:

* A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Sciences, or equivalent experience of professional level web and database applications experience
* 4 - 5 years of web application and web services implementation and deployment
* A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with Microsoft.NET (VB and C#) development with emphasis on ASP.Net 2.0 to 4.0 implementation and maintenance
* Proficiency in custom web development technology, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery


* Experience with Microsoft ASP .NET MVC Core and Web Forms, C#, Entity Framework, and SQL server


* Experience with JavaScript libraries


* Experience with SQL and databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server


* Experience with Visual Studio 2008 or greater


* The ability to identify and document client requirements needed to analyze business processes and workflows


* Excellent written and oral communication skills


* The ability to prioritize tasks and work as part of a team and/or independently, and work on multiple projects at once


* Strong interpersonal and customer interface skills


* Knowledge and familiarity with information architecture, wire-framing, and user-centered design and testing


* Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.



You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you have:

* An M.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related technical discipline
* Knowledge of and experience with full software development process and modern software engineering practices


* Experience with modern web frameworks such as AngularJS, Vue.js ReactJS, AJAX, JSON, HTML5/CSS3 and/or responsive design


* Understanding of the agile life-cycle development process and use of Atlassian Jira or similar development tools


* Experience with graphic and/or multimedia software such as Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver


* Active Secret clearance.
