Responsibilities:

This is an opportunity to support the US Navy's intelligence mission. Perspecta needs someone with strong MATLAB skills and GUI and either knowledge of the acoustic characteristics of threat targets or an interest in learning about this important field. In addition to MATLAB programming, there will be opportunities for data analysis.

Individual will migrate classified data currently in a MATLAB environment to a PostgreSQL based database system. Prior to migrating, missing mission related data must be identified, located, and added to the data in the MATLAB environment. Once migrated, the candidate shall conduct QA on the transferred data to assure all fields in the PostgreSQL database are accurate. Document all missing data to be added to the MATLAB environment in Microsoft Word at least five days prior to adding the information. Document conversion statistics within five days of completing migration data QA.

Qualifications:

Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Technology Management. Four years experience writing software in MATLAB. Two years experience in database development and administration.

Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligible.
