NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Mulesoft/Java Developer to join our team in Austin, TX.

The candidate will develop the design and software for back end processes and to support integration and conversion of older applications

using Mule ESB and Java. The candidate will be part of a support team that maintains various applications in legacy technologies.

Individual will be responsible for the following:

* Coding, testing, debugging, implementing and documenting complex programs
* Translate existing legacy processes into Mule ESB
* Work with functional and business customers to determine solutions that drive additional business value
* Ensures programs meet and perform to standards and technical specifications
* Provides technical advice on complex programming.
* Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
* Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation
* Debug and resolve operational issues in conjunction with other technical and functional teams
* Help support team develop familiarity with Mule
* Develop new processes in Mule
* Join after hours support rotation

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years work experience with Mulesoft ESB

Minimum of 5 years work experience with Agile-SCRUM

Minimum of 3 years work experience with Java development

Preferred skills:

* Demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and supporting Enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements
* Experience providing technical solutions development for on-premise and SaaS applications using J2EE and/or JSE frameworks
* Integration architecture experience with MuleSoft
* Experience with Tomcat, XML, JMS, WS-*, SOA integration, API Management technologies and standards
* Design, development and operations experience with highly-available, scalable, and fault tolerant systems
* Experience designing public and private enterprise secure services using RAML and REST based APIs
* Experience profiling and troubleshooting Java application code
* Experienced troubleshooting Mule ESB, including working with debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools
* Experience with all phases of software development life cycle from Business Requirement Analysis to Production implementation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong cognitive ability especially with respect to understanding, documenting, and describing complex technical subjects
