Scrum MasterLocation: Seattle, WADescription of position:As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for being the rock-star facilitator between development teams and product owners while remaining the shining example of Agile & Scrum Servant Leadership. You will be expected to hold the standard Scrum events, assist product owners with achieving a well-groomed backlog, removing impediments, and empowering your team(s) to continually evolve.What You'll DoCoach the delivery team and organization to follow Agile Scrum principles, values, and practices including accountability, self-organization, and empowerment and facilitate transparency across teams.Work with the Product Owner to support short and long-term release planning, to keep work backlog health, and prepared for execution. Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement.Manage interdependencies between agile teams.Shield the team from external interference to enable optimal functionality and productivity.Anticipate and address potential or actual impediments to team delivery (cultural barriers, logistic challenges).Foster close cooperation across all team members; encourage cross-training and team support.Build a trusting and safe environment where problems may be raised without fear of reprisal.Ensures that Agile-related project reporting, such as burndowns and status updates, are relevant, transparent, and add value.Runs multiple scrum teams simultaneously.Partners with project and release managers in production deployment activities.Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:Able to work across multiple disciplines, roles and teams.Ability to negotiate and navigate the nuances of bringing people together to launch products.Able to take a systems perspective and see the larger picture.Able to understand complex interdependencies of product delivery.Strong coaching and facilitation skills.Demonstrates intellectual curiosity.Strong analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities.Basic Qualifications:Minimum of five years' experience as a scrum master in a software product development setting.Expert in cross group communication, able to get buyoff from business, operations and peers.Experience leading Agile teams on complex, integrated platforms preferred, across multiple Agile approaches.Experience as a member of a high performing team working in a fast-paced enterprise software development environment while demonstrating a strong ability to balance multiple priorities and respond to urgent issues and/or cha
