Job OverviewQualcomm's Modem Validation Team is part of the organization responsible for the overall quality of the industry leading Modem silicon. The Validation team works closely with architects, designers, engineers, software engineers, and customers. The team is currently seeking multiple candidates for Modem Content (C & Python) firmware and driver development. Good knowledge of HW Platforms & firmware, Cellular technologies including UMTS & LTE and WLAN standards are preferred. Responsibility includes creating firmware (C code) for pre and post silicon validation and debug of modem digital design (all of the baseband PHY), CPUs, digital busses & related blocks. Working knowledge of Modem/Rf test equipment, standards and analog systems for either one of Cellular or WLAN are preferred. Systems Debug including ; FPGA Emulation, Architectures, HW Platforms & firmware, Logic Analyzers, JTAG, silicon life cycle including process and temperature .All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
