Job OverviewReducing power consumption while not sacrificing performance is a huge priority for the company. The Modem Software Power Team is involved in defining modem power features and ensuring the achievement of power goals for QCT chipsets over the use cases involving 5G/4G/3G modems.

Given the critical nature of the problem, and the world leadership that Qualcomm enjoys in modem technology, the successful candidate will gain expertise in the architecture of the best-in-class modem as well as become familiar with the latest in cutting-edge wireless technologies.

Responsibilities:

Design & develop power optimization algorithms Develop and release the Modem Clock and Power Manager (MCPM) Create prototype software as proof of concept of modem power optimization features. Analyze & Debug issues for power optimization features. Perform measurements and analyze power for verifying and debugging the power features." id="hdnJobOverview" />
