We are looking for an innovative Mobile Software Engineer to join the Applied Research team within our Consumer Electronics division. In this role, you will work on fast-paced entrepreneurial projects to help us shape revolutionary innovative technologies and experiences that power our future products. Teams are interdisciplinary, cross-functional and often include external technology partners. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, solid engineering fundamentals, and a proven track record for working on projects with a high degree of ambiguity. Responsibilities Include: Contribute to an enthusiastic and talented team of Software Engineers to bring innovative technologies to the market Hands-on development of native iOS applications and iOS SDKs Integrate applications with connected products and with cloud services Build platforms by architecting reusable building blocks enabling faster and more efficient technology creation Stay up to date on relevant technologies, monitor professional groups, understand trends and opportunities to ensure we are using the best techniques and tools Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent; advanced degree a plus Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, detail-oriented, analytical, drive for perfection 2+ years of experience using Swift and Objective-C 6+ years of software development experience System thinker with excellent understanding of software system architecture, operating system fundamentals, and API designs Experience writing multi-threaded/asynchronous code; solid understanding of threading in iOS applications Expert skills with CoreBluetooth and communicating with connected devices Strong understanding of Xcode, Profiling, and Debugger Knowledge of code signing, provisioning profiles, TestFlight Strong understanding of UIKit Experience building for different targets such as App, Extension, Framework, and Watch Strong hands-on experience implementing interfaces, Storyboard, constraints, Interface Builder Experience implementing REST APIs Examples of past work required Highly Desirable: Experience deploying Machine Learning applications on iOS and Android Experience with Machine Learning tools such as Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, pandas, SciPy, Matploltib Experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch Experience developing Android applications using Java or Kotlin Experience using AWS such as S3, Lambda, IAM and Cognito Bose is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
