Viasat is a leading satellite internet provider and provides best in class connectivity and in-flight entertainment services to dozens of major airlines across the globe. The Monetization Platform team has been recently formed to focus on building innovative products across media, advertising and sponsorships for our airline customers. We believe there is a tremendous opportunity to add value-added services for our clients that increase the overall passenger experience as high-speed internet becomes more standard in the air. Air Travel is evolving and the Monetization Platform team will be at the bleeding edge.

Job Responsibilities

* Collaborate closely with the UI design team and translate UX requirements into high quality code.
* Provide feedback and influence UI design to leverage latest features available in Android and iOS SDKs.
* Design and build out the next generation smart-phone applications that are responsive, high performance, testable and maintainable for OS, tracking and push notifications.

Requirements

* 2+ years Software development experience with focus in Android and iOS mobile UI.
* Solid understanding of Android and iOS application building blocks e.g. Activities/Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers/Intents, Content Providers
* Extensive Experience with Android and iOS SDK and APIs
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent education plus experience.
