Mobile Application Developer

Job Description

This role will primarily be responsible for developing engaging and efficient mobile applications to help foster the growth of our lighting solution initiatives by providing better tools for both our internal teams and our customers. Expected to provide rich user experiences that can improve productivity and leverage technology with a well-executed workflow across a variety of devices.

Responsibilities:

* Develop mobile applications for use on iOS and across a variety of devices
* Write, test and debug the software while leveraging our supporting in-house resources (e.g Graphic design, QA)
* Assist in the development of project schedules
* Execute project schedules in a timely manner

Education & Experience:

* Four year degree in Computer Science-related field and/or commensurate experience
* 2+ years of work experience in mobile app development
* Solid understanding of the app development process and backend connections
* UX design understanding is a plus
* Use of Xamarin is a plus but not required
* Knowledge of common software development processes such as source code revision control, Agile / Scrum processes, and the desire to improve his/her understanding of new and emerging technologies is a must
