Mid-Senior Level Software Developer

Job Description

Must have skills:

* Looking for mid to senior level C++ or Java software engineer with BS degree in computer science or related fields.
* Candidate must have solid education background in computer science or other science related fields from reputable colleges.
* Able to work independently and mentor the junior members in the team.
* Willing to learn on the job to program other languages as needed.

Nice to haves in the order of highest to lowest:

* Fluent in C++ is a big plus.
* Experience writing code decoding equity market data feed, preferably familiar with US equity market data.
* Project leading experience.
* Trading system experience such as Order Management System or FIX protocol
* Experience with building user interface such as Java FX, Java GWT, or any other UI or webpage experience
* Experience building equity trading algos.
* Python
* Familiar with MySQL and able to write simple developer level SQL queries
* Experience with production release management system (such as bamboo or teamcity)
* Experience with some third party messaging software
* Big data Hadoop experience
