Defines requirements and designs and verifies routine architecture, data and information management systems and components. Prepares initial design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements. Incorporates architecture functions into software development lifecycle. Develops and maintains architecture views and models. Performs initial assessments of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives. Performs initial assessment of product suitability for integration into delivery system environments. Drafts data and information management products and service standards. Assists with assessment of impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle.

Boeing is currently seeking a Mid Level Workday Security Architect in St. Louis, Missouri or Renton, Washington.

The Workday Security Architect will partner with Boeing compliance organizations to capture, disposition, and incorporate architecture requirements for security of 2CHR systems. Align designs with the enterprise business and technology strategy. Design, build, and implement secure solutions that balance requirements from Boeing compliance organizations with customer needs. Support application security assessments, including ongoing management of security architecture requirements for risk sorter, access control policy, threat models and other security compliance deliverables. Identify and communicate new security threats, designing architecture mitigations to address threats as they emerge. Evaluate existing and proposed architecture for 2CHR for security design, recommending changes or enhancements. Support regression evaluation when implementing security changes.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).

Required Qualifications:

* This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
* 3+ years of experience in IT Architecture and development
* 3+ years of experience designing architecture with industry standard security technologies and solutions (e.g. encryption (PGP), certificates (x509), MFA/2FA, and SAML/SSO/IDaaS.)
* 3+ years of experience assessing security architecture and capabilities of SaaS and COTs products
* 3+ years of experience in securing architecture for web services and web-based applications with technical understanding of major cloud security risks, including: advanced persistent threats, data breaches, hacking/social engineering, denial of service, and authentication issues
* Experience communicating with technical experts and explaining difficult technical concepts to non-technical business users
* Experience with the full life cycle process of software systems and development

Preferred Qualifications:

* Workday application and/or architecture experience
* Knowledge of B2B integration protocols
* Overall iDaaS architecture experience
* Experience designing architecture with industry standard security technologies and solutions (e.g. encryption (PGP), certificates (x509), MFA/2FA, and SAML/SSO/IDaaS)
* Experience in securing architecture for web services and web-based applications with technical understanding of major cloud security risks, including: advanced persistent threats, data breaches, hacking/social engineering, denial of service, and authentication issues
* Knowledge of HR systems and services
* Experience with Workday and other HR platform security
* Knowledge of protocols, networking controls, firewalls, and proxies
* Experience with various operating systems and platforms (Windows, Linux, IOS, Android)
* Use of Cameo or ARIS modelling tools
* Understanding of ISO27001 and NIST standards
* CISSP, CISA, or ISSAP Certification
