Microsoft Office and Email Administrator - Consultant

Background:

The Information Technology Department (ITE) is the responsible for selecting, implementing and maintaining all the platforms and solutions that support the operations of the Bank. Some of the most critical platforms of the Bank rely on Microsoft solutions such as the email, the document repository, the collaboration and meetings platform, intranet portal, security policies, among others.

Due to Microsoft fast growth on productivity and collaboration solutions there is an increased demand from clients to incorporate them in Bank's processes. To have a sustainable growth, administrators need to expand support models, define strategies and governance, look for tools that help to monitor, administer and complement Microsoft solutions.

In this context, the ITE department is looking for an innovative, committed, customer oriented and team player Microsoft Office 365 /Collaborations/Exchange administrator to be part of the Office 365 (O365) administrators' team. The candidate should be ready to contribute to high-impact projects right away and provide actionable insights to clients' demands.

What you'll do:

* Office 365/Collaboration tools administration
* Research, develop, and deploy O365 solutions, including delivering proof of concepts
* Oversees and execute tasks pertaining to the maintenance and administration of SharePoint Online, One Drive and Teams and the overall O365 eco system.
* Integrate Digital Workspaces techniques into modern sites to use all the new functionalities including but not limited to Flow, Power Apps, Teams.
* Support and Collaborate with the Document Management Team pertaining to new development and resolving issues around the bank document management Platform hosted on SharePoint Online.
* Support the implementation of Electronic Record Management solutions for O365.
* Ability to develop rich apps using Graph API and Azure AD.
* Work with providers to implement solutions and escalate problems when necessary and follow through with problem resolution.



Email administration

* Create and manage all types of recipients in Exchange Online including accounts, permissions, and distribution groups.
* Configure, verify and troubleshoot delivery of emails in all platforms (mobile devices, OWA, Outlook client on Windows and MAC) and in various SMTP relays.
* Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook errors including but not limited to missing emails, security threats, and performance issues.
* Integrate users and groups in Active Directory with Exchange Online.
* Work with Office 365 identity management.

What you'll need:

Citizenship:

* You must be a citizen of one of the IDB's 48 member countries and have no family members currently working at the IDB Group. We may offer assistance with relocation and visa applications for you and your eligible dependents.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB Group.

Education:

* Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert / Messaging Administrator preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Information System, Information Technology or comparable degree.

Core and Technical Competencies:

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange administration
* Knowledge of administration of SharePoint Online, Teams, One Drive and the overall O365 eco system
* PowerShell skills to manage O365
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, dedication and the ability to work in an international team across hierarchical levels are indispensable.
* Proven ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment and in a context of dynamic change.

Experience:

* 5 years of experience with Exchange (on premise/online) administration.
* 4 years of Office 365 (over 3000 users) administration experience.

Languages:

* Proficiency in written and oral English and Spanish is required.
