Functions
Candidate will contribute to data center consolidation and migration projects for external customers. The system administrator is responsible for engineering and implementing Windows and Linux solutions consistent with customer requirements. Daily tasks will involve customer meetings, gathering requirements, configuring new systems, data migration, online research, preparing proposals, and creating technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
Five plus years in Windows and UNIX/LINUX system administration (e.g., Windows 2003/2008/2012 Windows Server)
Corporate / Enterprise Experience in MANY of the following:
Microsoft System Software Administration areas
AD, ADFS, Exchange, Sharepoint, etc.
File server migration/consolidation
File sharing/permissions
MS File Server Migration Tool
Configuring hardware/storage
Backup solutions
Networking
Professional Position / Consulting Experience
Exemplary Written and Oral Communication Skills
Proficiency In Command/Shell Scripting
Moderate Understanding of Networking
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Cloud Infrastructure Implementation
Server and Desktop Virtualization
Programming Experience
Database Administration Experience
