The Manager of Logistics Projects and Systems Support leads continuous improvement analyses and implements new processes into operations to ensure those new processes fit into the daily operations functions seamlessly. This position is responsible for documenting the business requirements and works in conjunction with IT and other technology providers to create the proposed solutions. This position is a subject matter expert for Logistics management systems and will hold project management responsibilities for launch of new systems, including, implementation, process improvement and user training. This position is also responsible for project management support for logistics network strategy initiatives and solutions.This position is responsible for developing, partnering with, and implementing 3rd party carrier dedicated solutions which will include contract negotiations, the creation of standard operating procedures, and the development of reporting with external carrier partners.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Provides Project Management Support For New Logistics Initiatives And Projects.

Develops Standard Operating Procedures And Policies To Drive Maximum Program Success. This Includes; Working With The Logistics Team, It Resources, And Other Stake Holders As Needed To Build Foundations Resources, Tools And Modules.

Serves As A Subject Matter Expert On Logistics Systems; Usage, Capabilities, And Integration. Acts As The Point Of Contact In A Consulting Function For Logistics Systems For All Inquiries Including; Divisional, Head Office, It, And Tms Provider, Including All Future System Decisions As It Relates To Enhancements And Upgrades. Coordinates Production Of Training Procedures With External Contractors.

Manages The Training Program For All Logistics Applications Including Curriculum, Content (Documentation And Procedure Manuals), And Overseeing All Aspects Of The Training Program From Development Through Implementation. Responsible For Both Process And Procedural Training On Logistics Applications As Well As The Training In Markets And Center.

Monitors And Provides Analysis And Tracking Of The Various Logistics Systems And Processes Along With Any Necessary Changes To Drive The Expected Results.

Education/Training: Four Year Degree Or Equivalent Experience Required.

Related Experience:

6 Years Experience In Project Management Required

6 Years Of Process Improvement Experience Preferred

6 Years Of Strategic Development Experience, Logistics Experience Or Similar Relevant Experience

6 Years Of Reporting And Analysis Experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Must Be Proficient In The Use Of Microsoft Office And Project Management Tools. Tableau Experience Preferred.

Pmo Or Pmp Certification Preferred.

Must Be Extremely Analytical And Possess Highly Developed Written/Oral Communication, Along With Presentation And Interpersonal Skills.
