SUMMARY:
Qorvo is currently seeking a Fab Manufacturing Systems Manager to lead its Texas Wafer Fabrication factory's IT Manufacturing Systems team. This is an exciting, multidimensional role within a high-performance Information Systems organization which designs, develops and supports solutions for Qorvo Manufacturing Global Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Managing a team of software developers to plan, design, develop, test, tune, maintain, and document computer applications, systems and platforms
* Using the input from senior factory members and assisting to determine requirements, implementation timeline and priorities and providing strong internal customer service
* Establishing goals and operational objectives for the team in alignment with Factory and IT leadership
* Leading the development, maintenance and support of applications used by manufacturing and engineering environments
* Supporting and maintaining Qorvo Texas Wafer Fab sites (Renner Rd & Farmer Branch) Manufacturing Systems and Factory Automation Systems
* Coordinating ongoing production development and support with other IT teams and/or other manufacturing sites
* Linking business process owners and teams to define and develop technical solutions to business problems
* Leading and coordinating the management of all IT related change requests and projects.
* Coordinating with other IT groups for cross functional support of system infrastructure and integration
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science or related field with ten years of IT professional experience
* Minimum of three years leading an Information Systems organization
* Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and systems
* Strong project management and organizational skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong analytical capabilities
* Proficiency in direct customer interactions and consulting activities. High skill level of working collaboratively in a team based and knowledge sharing environment
* Continuous improvement mindset to support a "Culture of Lean" and drive improvements across the broader organization
* Strong attention to detail and quality of work
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines
* Ability to work and make decisions independently with limited supervision
