POSITION SUMMARY

Leads the data management team and oversees ETL processes

Supports the National Quality Management supplemental strategy to source new data sources and oversees processes to ensure accuracy and integrity with existing data sources

Interprets requirements, performs highly complex analyses and presents options and recommendations to the leadership team to achieve desired goals

Fundamental Components:

* Strong desire to drive process improvements in the Data Management team, quality measure reporting, and data infrastructure
* Support quality initiatives by sourcing hand implementing high impact supplemental data sources
* Strong background in data warehouse architecture and design
* Proven track record transforming Flat Files (UDF formats), Extensible Markup Language (XML); Health Level-7 (HL7); Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture (CCDA), Utilizing web services, migration of data between systems and performing ETL
* Responsible for collaboration between multiple interdisciplinary teams (IT, business, vendors, governance committees, auditors etc.)
* Excellent communication and organizational skills required to achieve individual and departmental goals with a strategy for execution and measuring success
* Ability to work with all aspects of clients to determine business needs

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

4+ years of data interpretation and analysis experience.

Management experience required.

Project/program/process management experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Well-versed in statistical model building and concepts, decision trees and classification rules, segmentation and cluster analysis.

Advanced SQL and SAS programming abilities in data warehouse or big data analytics environment, including use of statistical analysis techniques or business intelligence application development.

Knowledge of analytic programming tools and methods (SAS, SQL, OLAP, Business Objects, Crystal).

Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience reporting HEDIS and regulator measures a plus

Experience with audit and data governance requirements

Understanding of relational databases, data systems, big data analytics and data warehouses.

Strong reporting skills using Excel, Access, Word and/or PowerPoint

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
