Do you have experience in the financial industry? Are you ready to move into a back office support role? Texans Credit Union currently has an exciting opportunity to advance your career in the financial field as a MEMBER SUPPORT SPECIALIST.

This position will work at our Headquarters in Richardson and processes member setup, maintenance and documentation requests while providing quality customer service to internal and external customers. MAJOR DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Process member requests and maintenance daily for check orders, new accounts, closed accounts, account maintenance, statement printouts, address changes and address warning flags

2. Complete requests for member letters

3. Complete mail room and records duties

4. Complete monthly maintenance as scheduled on accounts and member records

5. Scan records into imaging records system

6. Manage workload of assigned projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy

7. Performs other assigned backup duties

8. All other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position:

1. Proficiency in MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)

2. Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments.

3. Ability to work with limited supervision.

4. Strong collaboration and written/verbal communication skills.

5. Demonstrated experience delivering results in an ambiguous and changing environment, the ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

6. Must be able to successfully complete a credit check, criminal background check and drug screen.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE:

One to two years banking experience relating to financial institution operations
