JOB TITLE: Business Systems Analyst I

Reports to: Director, Master Data Management

Salary Grade: 13

Job Summary:

Business Systems Analyst will act as a data steward to ensure products and items are set up and represented accurately and efficiently within the enterprise using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) (Master Data Management-MDM) and other tools.

This role supports and executes the day-to-day objectives of the MDM team which includes facilitating global product setup (represented with Master Item Data, Attribute Data, Bill of Materials, Quote Templates and Configuration Rules) in the Oracle EBS. This role will help maintain all master item setup mechanisms including attribute definition within Oracle item templates as well as several item and bill of material (BOM) structure master setup forms. This role will also participate in master data project initiatives on an as needed basis.

Major Responsibilities:

* Work with the Product/Program managers to architect the Master Data for new product structures, lead item setup tracking meeting, troubleshoot and research problem areas, create reports and tools for key performance measurements.
* Responsible for supporting, administering, and optimizing systems and processes supporting Oracle item setup and configuration processes.
* Provide direct support and stewardship of item setup and change management processes to ensure timely and accurate processing of engineering change orders (ECOs), New Item Requests (NIR), item setups, and item data maintenance including support for Master Data Management (MDM) processes and systems.
* Work cross-functionality in a collaborative manner to support product value chain systems and processes.
* Provide troubleshooting support for item set up system and process issues.
* Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials and provide training where required.
* Support product data quality and governance initiatives.

Required Skills and Abilities:

* Experience or working knowledge with one or more of the following Oracle modules: Inventory, Bills of Material, Configurator, Configurator Developer, Order Management, Oracle Quoting, Oracle Advanced Pricing, iStore, Oracle APC/PIM, and Product Data Hub.
* Experience with SQL.
* Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
* Self-motivated, team player that is task oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
* Focus on system usability, training, and customer satisfaction.
* Desire and ability to learn new technologies and approaches.
* Ability to build and maintain cross-functional work relationships with both internal and external customers
* Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
* Effective communication/presentation/facilitation skills (oral and written).

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
* 1-2 years experience in the field of master data or information technology in a manufacturing industry.
