Working as a key member of the Project Management team within the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for implementing solutions to marketing's most complex initiatives and designing business and project management processes to materially impact the team's ability to execute against its growth targets.
This individual will be responsible for engaging with all marketing stakeholders -- working on behalf of the CMO & the Chief of Staff -- to ensure the demand plan and special projects and priority initiatives are executed in a timely manner. In addition, this individual will drive large-scale, cross-functional project management and operational coordination needs across the Marketing business. The Project Manager will also work hand in hand with marketing leaders to develop robust, detailed plans in response to requests/feedback from the business on critical business initiatives, roll out any required assets, track the success of assets/initiatives, and focus on continued improvement of these business priorities.
The Marketing Project Manager will be successful with the following qualifications:
2-5+ years of project management or program management experience; consulting, business operations or SaaS experience preferred
Outstanding cross-functional management and leadership skills, including previous experience reporting to or working closely with executive leadership
Deep understanding and passion for Marketing and Box's other go-to-market functions (Sales, Business Development & Customer Success)
Proven ability to GSD
Ability to distill large amounts of information into a digestible format
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Strong bias for action and an intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity
Highly flexible and adaptive, able to multi-thread across a number of simultaneous projects
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to drive Marketing wide strategic-planning efforts with curiosity and collaboration
B.A/B.S. Degree required
