Exponent's Buildings and Structures Practice is currently hiring a Managing Engineer/Architect for the New York, NY office. This individual will help lead and further grow our engineering/architectural consulting services regionally and will be a key member of our national practice. Responsibilities will include marketing to new and existing clients, successfully executing projects, and recruiting, hiring, and retaining highly qualified staff.

Qualifications for this position include:

* M.S./Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or degree in architecture
* Proven business development and client management track record, and the ability to attract projects to support full-time staff
* Professional license in Engineering or Architecture
* An outstanding professional reputation with an existing client base
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to support multiple group projects
