Your Role and Responsibilities

In the role of IT Managing consultant, you will work in partnership with clients, advising them how to use information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems. You'll work to improve the structure and efficiency of IT systems in various organisations. You'll provide strategic guidance to clients with regard to technology and IT infrastructures and will enable major business processes through enhancements to IT. You may also be called upon to provide guidance and technical expertise during other processes as well, such as selection and procurement and user training and feedback.

Responsibilities

* meet with clients to determine requirements
* work with clients to define the scope of a project
* plan timescales and the resources needed
* clarify a client's system specifications, understand their work practices and the nature of their business
* travel to customer sites
* liaise with staff at all levels of a client organisation
* analyze ITSM requirements within companies and give independent and objective advice on the use of ITSM
* develop agreed solutions and implement new ITSM ServiceNow systems
* present solutions in written or oral reports
* design and implement new ITSM ServiceNow environments
* prepare documentation and present progress reports to customers
* organize training for users and other consultants

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

* Experience in Design, Development and Maintenance of applications using ServiceNow, JAVA/J2EE technologies
* Hands on experience with ServiceNow tool, its configuration and
* Experience using scripting languages like Glide Script, Jelly Scriptand Java Script.
* Ability to create customized ServiceNow portals , UI Macros and UI's
* Experience with ServiceNow upgrade activities, migration activities
* Experience with ServiceNow administration of common platform applications: Knowledge Base, Service Catalog, Workflows, SLA's,
* Experience implementing ITIL processes for an organization such as incident management, change management and problem management, etc.
* Service Now Certified System Administrator (2013), Certified System Administrator (2018), London Delta and IITIL V3 foundation.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

* Certified Scrum Master (2018).
* Strong object-oriented concepts.
* Proficient in developing Java Web Services using SOAP, REST, XML and WSDL.
* AGILE & Waterfall methodology of software development.
* Hands on experience in designing and developing applications with technologies such as core and advanced Java
* Technologies JAVA, J2EE, EJB, JSP, Servlets, Java Script, Oracle, Web Services, Struts, HTML, JDBC, JNDI, JUnit and XML-
* Related technologies.
* Experience in developing web applications and server-side development using JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, XML, JSTL and JUnit using various web/application servers like JBoss, IBM WebSphere, WebLogic 10.x, Apache Tomcat 6.x/7.x/8.x and other similar technolgies
