Right now, we are seeking Managers, Technical Product Support, based at Western Union's location in San Francisco, California.

Managers, Technical Product Support for Western Union (San Francisco, CA) - Work on all software development activities for Web and Mobile App configuration and customization related changes for North America region. Work on the Web and Mobile requirements provided by regional product and marketing teams and come up with design and solution options. Collaborate with other business and software development stakeholders for integration requirements on dependent systems. Make necessary code changes for Web, Mobile and/or Middleware; perform unit and integration testing on non-production environments and merge changes in GIT repository. Work with regional stakeholders in verifying features and get sign off before release to production. Coordinate with DevOps and release teams for deploying changes from non-production to production environments. Work with other regional development teams in adopting changes related to their regions. Communicate status of features being rolled out with regional stakeholders. Manage day-to-day activities of the region through communication with relevant stakeholders and other project teams as necessary to ensure project deliverables. Work on continual process improvement activities.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or related; and progressive, post-bachelor's experience (5 years following Bachelor's or 3 years with Master's) as a Project Manager, or related occupation, which must include some experience with: Front end programming using HTML, CSS, Angular JS, Javascript, JSON & Rest; Middleware programming in Java, Webservices and NodeJS; DB programming in Oracle and SQL Server; Android and iOS mobile app development and release process; Work on design and solutioning of software features and components using specification & workflows; Agile project management methodologies; Managing Software Development project activities across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control & closure; Using project tracking tools including Jira and Confluence for project monitoring & bug tracking; Collaborate with stake holders from planning through release of features. Must also be certified in PMP, CSM.
