Overview

The Consumer Payment Applications Technology team was created to establish Mastercard as the front runner in the fast-evolving real-time payments space, and to position Mastercard to be able to incubate the development of new payment flows. The primary goal of this group is to collaborate with colleagues across functions to embed real-time payments into Mastercard's DNA by expanding digital acceptance while integrating with existing products and solutions. The team oversees the end-to-end cross functional Solution Architecture, Delivery governance & Operational readiness of new Products. The team participates along with its products partners in evaluating new market opportunities, M&A targets & new strategic investment & partnership opportunities

Role

* Responsible for driving the planning, execution, and delivery of real-time payments / ACH technology products and programs, with a focus on strategic initiatives, solutions, and transformations that span the organization and geographies in support of a broad business goal.
* Lead complex and ambiguous projects including cross-functional stakeholders with intense focus on mitigating risks and delivering results on-time.
* Develop a deep understanding of the business and technical requirements for the solutions being built.
* Focus on the business and technical problems and evaluate the business case, product build, and delivery processes to solve those problems.
* Identify technical inter-dependencies and remove blockers in challenging situations.
* Operate across teams and platforms overseeing the gaps between internal organizations, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a successful delivery.
* Drive mindful discussion with business and technical stakeholders that lead to timely decisions
* Make smart trade-off decisions balancing effort, delivery timelines, features, and technical constraints
* Influence dependent organizations' roadmaps by contributing to their planning documents and goal setting exercises.

All About You

* Bachelor's degree or higher is required
* Excellent communicator, comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization both in writing and in-person
* In-depth experience in program or project management of software development initiatives and activities
* Knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
* Direct experience in real-time / ACH payments or banking industries is a plus.
* Ability to mix technical knowledge with practical real world experience to bridge between business and technology.
* Ability to influence internal and external business partners
* Attention to detail
* Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a team environment
