Job Description

The AR/VR team at Facebook builds the VR hardware and platform to let you experience anything, anywhere, with anyone. Additionally, Facebook has teams dedicated to building social experiences in VR that make it easier to spend time with your friends, wherever they are. Virtual reality's potential to connect the world is immense-and we're just getting started. As an Engineering Manager in the Oculus Companion App team, you will lead, manage, and inspire engineering teams developing highly polished creative and engaging user facing products. You'll help the team fulfill technical, operational, and business requirements by putting yourself in the trenches. You'll come up with new product opportunities or evaluate existing ones, and work with Design, Product Management, Data Science and User Research to plan and prioritize those products. You'll guide architecture and work along with engineers to develop those products, experiment, and launch successful experiences to users. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering consumer software products focused on incredible customer experiences centered within Android and/or iOS.
