The challenge

Adobe Document Cloud is trying to revolutionize the way the world interacts with documents by providing document conversion services, intelligent form recognition and signing across desktop, mobile and web. We are now looking at enhancing those document services further. For that, we are looking for a manager with a passion to lead, build and develop great teams that are agile and having a strong focus to innovate, work across teams and deliver on a road map.

Our team is a fast-paced Agile software development team with focus on producing scalable and high quality enterprise solutions.

The position is based in our offices in Newton, MA.

What you'll do

* Lead/Coach an agile engineering team of 5+ engineers spread across geos.
* Manage the team's processes, priorities, schedules and deliverables
* Meet regularly with customers to get feedback
* Communicate product progress with measurable data to Management
* Work closely with cross-functional teams of Product Owners, UX experts, Architects, Developers, Quality Engineers, and other key stakeholders, to deliver functionality that helps solidify and grow our global customer base

What you need to succeed

* 5+ years of experience in leading & coaching software development teams
* 3+ years building software in SaaS environment
* Proven organization, operation and project management skills
* Proven track record in leading or (actively) participating in a leading edge, cross-functional team of software engineers and managers
* Ability to participate and influence software architectural discussions
* Strong focus on scalability, performance, availability, reliability, customer experience, and analytics
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in full-stack Web Development
* Familiarity with Java/Spring/RESTful development is a plus
* Understanding of Enterprise requirements is a plus
