As a manager, Production Support in global security infrastructure you will work as a member of the Global Physical Security team in the Law & Corporate Affairs Department to implement new features and capabilities within our enterprise security systems. The areas of focus will include improving, documenting and executing logical security policies within our access control and video management systems. Our manager will work on and direct the transition to certificate-based credentials at all levels of our systems, improve our ability to encrypt data wherever possible or needed, and will own system updates and patching, vulnerability management, firmware control and database security. You will be working with cross-functional teams including business units and Starbucks Technology to remove roadblocks, deliver more secure systems, add functionality to existing platforms and roll out new tools that support both enterprise and department objectives. Expectations include implementing and monitoring project metrics, milestones and budgets while championing innovative solutions to complex problems. Preferred candidates will have experience with physical security software along with an understanding of IT security and best practices for system hardening and device protection. Drive - The production support function within global security infrastructure works to increase the security of systems as well as deliver relevant new features that provide business value. Work directly and with cross-functional teams to bring efforts across the finish line and achieve results.
Manage - Monitor and maintain complex systems including troubleshooting, patching, updating and documenting standards for system performance and security.
Collaborate - Team with partners within Global Security and across the organization to support enterprise-wide goals and objectives leveraging physical security infrastructure.
We'd love to hear from people with:
Five years of relevant experience in project management preferably in a security setting
Experience leading project teams and delivering software systems and enhancements
Familiarity with enterprise physical security platforms (Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure or others)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence across the organization
Passion for enhancing security of people, systems and assets
