Basic Qualifications

* A minimum of 5 years experience leading technical teams within implementation projects.
* Experience successfully leading technology teams within the delivery of enterprise software projects for their allocation domain. Proven track record of execution--driving results and meeting commitments.
* Experience leading matrixed project teams including architects, developers, operations, PMs, business analysts, and vendor partners
* Experience proactively managing project risks and issues and implementing effective mitigation plans
* Experience managing technical project budget and financials
* Strong experience with vendor management and building strong, collaborative vendor relationships

The Manager, Product and Engineering is a strong technology leadership role within EBS, responsible for managing a product line and set of services for a group of Value Chains within EBS, and delivering technology solutions by leading projects and teams. The span of the role will encompass product management and software development, although the percentage of each will vary depending on the value chains supported

Specifically this role will be responsible for the technology product line for a particular group of value chains within Global Finance. The groups are:

* Order to cash, and Close Process
* Source to pay, Acquire to Retire, and Project Accounting
* Pay, Time, and Travel and Expense
* Planning and Forecasting

The Manager, Product:

* Leads technology teams within implementation projects, including development teams
* Delivers high-quality, scalable and cost-effective technology solutions that meet business requirements and conform to architectural designs and technology strategies
* Owner of a set of services: creates and manages product roadmaps, helps set and lead technology strategy
* Responsible for security and compliance
* Responsible for Tier 3 engineering support for live production services
* Actively manages third-party suppliers of products to ensure they deliver to their commitments, and to the needs of the business
* Collaborates closely with partners across the organization including business partners, architects and other delivery managers
* Builds strong relationships with and manages large and diverse groups of stakeholders at multiple levels, from end users to executives, across the enterprise
* Builds and manages high-performance and highly-motivated teams
* Manages and mentors team of direct reports by providing career path conversations and guidance, and helping them achieve goals through effective development and training plans
