Position Title: Manager, Network Operations Center (Requisition Number: MA-0055)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:

* Monitor and support the company's production infrastructure, systems and applications.
* Assist in coordinating operations and engineering teams in order to identify errors and anomalies.
* Identify and verify service impact to customers, and dispatch subject matter experts in support of problem resolution.
* Implement processes for monitoring/alerting, systems maintenance and change control.
* Responsible for the productivity of the team, ensuring performance is in line with expectations.
* Mentor and develop employees, identifying additional skills, training and experience as needed.
* Responsibilities also include interviewing, hiring and administration of disciplinary action if required.
* Ensure high team morale balanced with meeting and exceed performance standards.
* Serve as an escalation point for Internal and External Customers including addressing customer concerns and process improvements.
* Effectively communicate with all partners, customers and peers.
* Meet or exceed company and departmental objectives.
* Participate in budget planning and management.
* Responsible for the posting and distribution of network performance metrics/measurements.
* Serve as the architect of NaviNet's monitoring and automation system.
* Design, code and implement a fully automated system for detection and resolution of issues within NantHealth's production environment.
* Set the engineering standard for operational code that would be delivered into NantHealth's production environment and deliver world class availability of NantHealth's systems.
* Required to cover various shifts that may include evening and weekend hours and will require on-call rotation if needed.

Qualifications:

* Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field of study, and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Administration, Software Architecture, or SaaS operations role.
* Position also requires working knowledge of monitoring technologies and web monitoring tools, including Zabbix, Splunk, and AppDynamics. Requires working knowledge of virtualization (VMware), databases schemes and enterprise storage.
* Requires working knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux and Windows servers.
* Requires working knowledge and hands-on experience with application servers technology, including Apache Tomcat, Jboss, and IIS.
* Requires working knowledge and hands-on experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, and FTP) and utilities (Telnet, SSH, and CURL). Requires experience with scripting and command line in a Windows and Linux environment.
* Requires experience with Python, Java, Pearl, Unix, Windows Server, Storage Net App, Database solutions, Voiceshot, ITSM, BMC Coridant, and Ping Federate.
* Requires experience and proficiency with troubleshooting techniques and problem solving in a 24x7x365 production environment.
* Requires experience as network operations team leader or manager, including personnel and shift coordination and management, and making reports on shift operations and issues handled/escalated.
