Position summary: Provide leadership to implementation personnel responsible for project management for Nuance healthcare clients.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and oversight for execution and project completion•Direct accountability and responsibility for overall project success •Promote and support customer satisfaction during implementation and stabilization of the customer life cycle •Support and ensure compliance on standardized processes, methodologies, project management practices and tools (Project Charter/Scope, Project Plan, Project Budget) •Monitor project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections•Review, monitor and approve staff time sheets, expense reports and other business tracking metrics as required by corporate protocol•Maintain staff productivity and manage revenue expectations including budgeting, forecast projections, milestone tracking, staff billable and non-billable time management between client and Nuance•Provide weekly one-on-one coaching session with direct reports to ensure goals are on-track•Motivate employee engagement, collaboration and high performance•Provide constructive feedback and suggestions on internal process improvements •Manage personnel issues as they arise including both corrective action and commendations•Grow team product knowledge, increase healthcare IQ, manage team capabilities, identify gaps and required training
* Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing
Knowledge, skills and qualifications -
Education: BA/BS Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Management, Computer Science, Project Management or equivalent experience
* Minimum 10 years' experience in Health Care related field•5+ years of Project Management experience in a capacity working directly with Clients and Partners in the Healthcare field•Demonstrable competencies in planning & managing a Project's Scope, Schedule, Cost, Resources, Quality, & Risks.•Excellent communications skills both written and oral•Ability to build, lead, develop, coach, and motivate a project team•Ability to use a laptop PC, MS software applications and other various software applications as required.•Proficient with multiple Nuance product lines or major module and excellent knowledge of client HIS application and its various components•Ability to write business correspondence, software and procedural documentation•Ability to verbally respond to inquiries, questions or problems from clients •Ability to lead multiple and complex projects with rapidly changing priorities and deadlines•Excellent time management, decision-making, and organization skills•Excellent interpersonal skills to lead a project team and serve as a liaison with customers•Excellent problem-solving skills•Ability to travel nationally for staff development and business development opportunities as needed (25%)
* PMP certification•Business and/or technical experience with Speech, CDI and/or software technologies and solutions•Expertise and knowledge of the following industry: healthcare•Education: Bachelor's degree or related experience
