Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Enterprise Operations, Oracle in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Driving business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of Oracle software solutions. Managing day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Managing and delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies. Responsibilities include, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures. Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients; participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process. Contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Performing role of counselor and coach. Actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities. Providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Synthesizing overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients' technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Developing dashboard wireframes and design requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Gathering and documenting business requirements and performing fit-gap analysis via design workshop sessions and business process flows (Microsoft vision and oracle cloud finance flows). Utilizing the Oracle ERP system to prototype business requirements and track or capture process defects. Configuring oracle modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Tax and Cash Management) using Oracle configuration workbooks. Conducting system integration and user acceptance testing using oracle finance test scripts. Designing and developing reporting solutions and strategies using BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and financial reporting studio. Testing business requirements identified as gaps by designing and developing functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversion and Enhancement (RICE) objects.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.


* Five years of progressively responsible experience in the offered position or a position in a related occupation.


* Must have five years of experience with:
* Gathering and documenting business requirements and performing fit-gap analysis via design workshop sessions and business process flows (Microsoft vision and oracle cloud finance flows);


* Utilizing the Oracle ERP system to prototype business requirements and track or capture process defects;


* Configuring oracle modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Tax and Cash Management) using Oracle configuration workbooks;


* Conducting system integration and user acceptance testing using oracle finance test scripts;


* Designing and developing reporting solutions and strategies using BI Publisher (BIP), Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and financial reporting studio;


* Testing business requirements identified as gaps by designing and developing functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces, Conversion and Enhancement (RICE) objects.




* 80% travel required.
