We are looking for a Data Engineering Manager to play a key role in building its next generation tools and solutions that lays the foundation for our expanding cross-border business. Are you passionate about shipping, big data sets, and highly scalable predictive data platforms which can retrieve, integrate, visualize and present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to improve the business decision-making process for our operations and product teams? * Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly data platforms which will power reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs and improve the efficiency of supply chain for ultra-fast delivery programs * Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI's, automated reporting/process solutions and data infrastructure improvements to meet business needs. * Apply your deep analytic and business intelligence skill to extract meaningful insight and learning from large and complicated data sets. You will be responsible for modeling complex/abstract problems and discovering insights through the use of statistical and visualization techniques. * The complexity of research and skills for this role is well beyond basic data entry and research. It involves complex analysis/dive deep into key metrics based on requests, building and maintaining multiple databases, knowledge of software applications to create tools, and understanding of multiple programming languages.
