Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Customer & Marketing, Human Services Transformation in Boston, MA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Manage the definition of requirements, use cases, product management, and functional specifications for a large scale JAVA system along with validation and testing services for clients. Provide strategic advice and high quality results to client's business operations and systems. Perform testing activities including integration and regression testing using JAMA Test Management tools. Lead testing efforts, including system, integration, and performance testing. Responsible for identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations. Define testing strategy for large scale programs and ensure requirements traceability throughout the system development lifecycle. Assist in the development of test plans, test scenarios, test cases, execution of test case and documentation of test results. Create large scale functional and system testing deliverables using MS Visio to build process flow diagrams and design specification documents for translating business needs for system screens, business rules, notices, and reports. Perform testing activities including integration, smoke, and regression testing using JAMA Test Management tools. Develop implementation plans and analyze production issues utilizing JIRA, JAMA, and Apache Subversion (SVN) tools. Design Standard Query Language (SQL) queries on DB2 and Oracle databases to generate post production system reports and business reports utilizing Microsoft Standard Query Language (SQL). Create specialized test strategies for automated batch processes, and execute and automate smoke testing activities utilizing QTP Automation. Utilize HP Quality Center for end to end system integration and UAT activities.

Requirements

* Master's degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Engineering (any), Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, CIS or a related field.


* Three years of experience as a Manager, Senior Consultant, Performance Analyst or a related occupation.


* Must have three years of experience with:
* Creating large scale functional and system testing deliverables using MS Visio to build process flow diagrams and designing specification documents for translating business needs for system screens, business rules, notices, and reports;


* Performing testing activities including integration, smoke, and regression testing using JAMA Test Management tools;


* Developing implementation plans and analyzing production issues utilizing JIRA, JAMA, and Apache Subversion (SVN) tools;


* Designing Standard Query Language (SQL) queries on DB2 and Oracle databases to generate post production system reports and business reports utilizing Microsoft Standard Query Language (SQL);


* Creating specialized test strategies for automated batch processes, and executing and automating smoke testing activities utilizing QTP Automation;


* Utilizing HP Quality Center for end to end system integration and UAT activities.




* In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a stated field and five years of progressively responsible experience as a Manager, Senior Consultant, Performance Analyst, or related occupation.


* Any suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable.


* 80% travel required.
