Job Description

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Core Business Operations, Cloud Engineering in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do

Own and develop scope of work for the client engagement, including program deliverables, goals and commercial details, which serves as official contractual documents. Track and report project activities to senior leadership and client stakeholders, and oversee day-to-day work priorities and escalations. Evaluate junior team members on their daily performance. Guide team in gathering software requirements, and developing, testing and updating computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs. Review proposed software design and architecture for client use, and optimize operational efficiency. Facilitate planning, setup, and migration of client applications and software to cloud infrastructure. Coordinate planning and development of descriptive and predictive analytic platforms with machine learning models and ensure alignment to business goals. Assess process workflows, current state and target state analysis, proposed operating models and business frameworks developed by teams. Mentor and coach junior practitioners in the firm and advise them on their career development. Oversee client and stakeholder relationship(s) for duration of the project, and cultivate new relationships to grow business. Oversee and strategize development and pursuit of sales proposals and eminence artifacts to grow business. Lead internal practice initiatives, which includes scope definition, task assignment and tracking and reporting progress to senior leadership.



* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.

* Five years of progressively responsible experience in the offered position or a related occupation.

* Must have five years of experience with:
* Utilizing Agile and DevOps methodologies including Scrum and Kanban to manage software development and delivery;

* Leveraging Telco Network Engineering and Operations Support Systems (OSS) functions (Fault Management, Network Inventory Management, Workforce Management, Ticketing and Remediation, Configuration Management, and Performance Optimization) to develop target state business processes, architecture, and operating models for clients;

* Participating in the Software Development Lifecycle including Requirements Definition, Architecture and Design, Development, Testing and Deployment using .NET, JAVA, UNIX, GIT, Ansible, Puppet, Oracle, and MS Structured Query Language (SQL);

* Identifying opportunities, developing cost benefit analysis for automating existing business workflows, and providing a list of tools that can enable automation for each scenario;

* Responding to client proposals with current state assessment, market research, and transformation roadmaps for business workflows, technical capabilities, solution architecture, and IT operating models;

* Developing data migration plans from legacy platforms to private and public cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), OpenStack, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

* 80% travel required.
