Job Description

Facebook's Enterprise Collaboration Apps team is responsible for the productivity of Facebook Employees. The team is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Manager to lead a team of Application Managers in the Collaboration apps space. The team identifies, designs and implements efficient and effective third party collaboration solutions for Facebook employees.

As a leader in the Enterprise Engineering organization, this manager will focus on all aspects of our collaboration tools suite including real time document collaboration, document storage, Project Management tools and any other tools used to improve information collaboration. This is a full-time position based in our Fremont, CA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage a team of Application Managers delivering collaboration solutions to the Enterprise



Determine the best available products to use for the employee population for their specific use cases, based on competitive analysis and consultation with internal stakeholders (security, legal etc.)

Collect internal requirements from various teams and work to find the right solutions. Narrow down to a specific vendor/solution and work with Purchasing to finalize the contract

Lead the internal deployment of tools inside Facebook including: roll-out strategy, communication plan, training and enablement of internal teams, marketing of new features and capabilities and directing all technical matters related to the implementation

Analyze users issues and report on bugs and architect solutions that will fit the Facebook infrastructure. Work with third-party solutions providers to prioritize features

Create dashboards using existing internal tools to understand adoption and feature usage which will lead to roadmap decisions

Collaborate with internal security teams to make sure all applications meet our security guidelines

Work with internal engineers to build integrations with these collaboration tools and Facebook products to streamline workflows

Work to migrate off declining tools, manage communication and process for migration

Be the subject matter expert for all features of the applications we support, be on top of new features and functionality and evangelize to users

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree



5+ years experience managing a team of application managers, solutions architects or product managers

8+ years experience working with end users to find and configure collaboration solutions

4+ years experience creating and defining dashboards and tracking product metrics using tools like Tableau, PowerBI or internal BI tools

Experience collaborating and managing relationships with third-party vendors and influencing their roadmap

Communication and leadership experience
