Position Description/Overview:

Press Ganey currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Application Development Manager in our Chicago Loop office. As the Senior Application Development Manager, you will lead a team of individuals that specialize in the movement and transformation of Press Ganey 30+ years of healthcare industry data. This role will support Enterprise Data Integration Team and serve as the expert resource for all Data Integration efforts to ingest healthcare data to Press Ganey.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the leadership and management of the software development team.
* Responsible for full systems development life cycle
* Responsible for collaborating on requirements and the design, estimation, development, testing, deployment of projects/programs.
* Actively participates in long-range IT strategy planning, provides leadership to cross-functional teams.
* Participate and contribute to IT strategic planning. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams of developers, qa engineers, infrastructure, product manager.
* Defines and develops project management infrastructure, manages a methodology driven quality plan, monitors and controls the quality of the deliverable, as well as manages the project completion process through customer acceptance.
* Works with business unit managers and forms alliances on projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements/conflicts and vendor contract clarification.

Qualifications:

* Full software development life cycle experience, project management (Agile SCRUM experience preferred), budgeting, estimating, SQL, REST API, Microsoft Azure Service Bus, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL Server, Azure SQL Database
* Nice to have: Experience with Corepoint, Informatica IDQ and Informatica MFT
* Project management and software development tools
* Managing and developing an application development team.
* Experience coaching and mentoring a team
* 8-10+ years experience in software design, architecture, implementation, testing and project management with at least 3 years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
* Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in software development life cycle, quality assurance, project management and other related disciplines/processes.

Minimum Education:

* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
