Job Purpose or Summary:

Supports the I EOTG Operations Section in providing MEU and SPMAGTF commanders expertise, advice, and mentorship during pre-deployment training events, to include operational planning, shaping, execution and command and control of MAGTF forces in both deliberate and rapid planning situations across the range of military operations. For MEUs, this support includes five major exercises lasting multiple weeks. For SPMAGTFs, this support includes one major exercise.

Essential Job Duties:

* Advising and mentoring MAGTF commanders in expeditionary operations within a combined and joint environment.
* When available will also represent interests and SME at MAGTF (both expeditionary and amphibious) operations working groups and conferences for both USMC and USN.

Minimum Qualifications

* Possess a valid drivers license issued within the United States and ensure validation is continuous throughout the specified period of performance.
* Former O-6 level command of Special Operating Forces or other MAGTF element.
* Possesses a thorough and holistic understanding of MEU operations.
